Valuation and Liability Disclosure
The released-value liability terms included with service and the related claim process.
Default liability coverage (no charge): released value of $0.60 USD per pound per article.
01What This Disclosure Covers
Valuation describes a mover's contractual liability for loss or damage; it is not automatically the same as an insurance policy. The written Wyoming service order identifies the liability terms before a customer accepts service.
02Default Liability Included at No Charge
| Customer price | $0 USD |
|---|---|
| Liability basis and limit | Released value of $0.60 USD per pound per article |
| Calculation | The lesser of the actual loss or damage and $0.60 USD multiplied by the article's weight in pounds |
For example, the maximum released-value liability for a 10-pound article is $6 USD. The written service order states this basis before service is accepted.
03Released-Value Liability Claim Process
- Send written notice by email or the contact form and identify the customer, job, service date, and affected items.
- Describe the loss or damage, state the amount claimed if known, and include available photos, inventory records, receipts, or repair information.
- Keep the affected items and packaging available for reasonable inspection while the claim is reviewed.
- Submit within the service-specific nine-month claim window in Terms §09. Longer nonwaivable Wyoming deadlines remain unaffected.
Claim payment, if owed, is calculated only under the default terms shown above, the written service order, and applicable Wyoming law.
